I am the first person in my immediate family to attend college. Ever since I was a liitle girl I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Although it wasn't until recently that I decided I wanted to teach high school history. History has always interested me so becoming a history teacher seems natural. I have a younger brother, Corey in tenth grade. I live with Corey, my parents and our cat, Pepper. I commute back and forth to school from my house in Bradford, RI. I enjoy writing short stories and in high school I was a member of the after school creative writing club. I love all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I even have a vast knowledge of real pirates, which I discuss in my Personal Expertise statement.
